ALTERNATIVES TO DAPOXETINE
For 60% of men suffering from premature ejaculation the primary cause may be related to psychological issues (not physical ones). In these cases, generic Priligy can prove to be a very effective form of treatment.

Dapoxetine Brand Names: Priligy, Poxet, Dapox, Dasutra, Dasutra, Duralast, Ejalong, Kutub, Sustinex, Stopejac. All these brands are alternatives to Dapoxetine and generic Priligy 60 mg trade names.
WHAT IS GENERIC PRILIGY 60 MG?
Priligy is a fast-acting, non-persistent medication used in the treatment of premature ejaculation. Generic Priligy 60 mg active ingredient, the chemical that actually does the work, is known as Dapoxetine.
It is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor that is absorbed quickly into the blood stream allowing for its use 1 to 3 hours before sex to prolong the time taken to ejaculate. Generic Priligy contains the same concentration of Dapoxetine as Priligy and therefore has exactly the same effect. Since Priligy is a brand name, manufacturers of generic Priligy 60 mg are unable to use the name ‘Priligy’ on product labels.
HAS A GENERIC VERSION OF PRILIGY BEEN APPROVED?
Since Dapoxetine is approved in a large number of countries, the use of Dapoxetine or generic Priligy is by inference also approved. However, despite a lack of serious side effects, extensive and very positive research findings and its widespread use elsewhere in the world, the FDA has as yet not approved Dapoxetine or Priligy.
IS THERE A GENERIC PRILIGY?
More than one generic version of Priligy is being manufactured. This offers consumers the ability to choose between expensive brand-name medications and much cheaper formulations that contain exactly the same ingredients.
HOW SHOULD I TAKE GENERIC PRILIGY DAPOXETINE?
Generic Priligy 60 mg is used in exactly the same way as Priligy. That is to say, 1-3 hours prior to sexual activity. 30mg, 60 mg and 120mg variants are available. The higher the concentration of Dapoxetine, the longer patients are able to sustain sexual activity.
WHAT SIDE EFFECTS MAY I NOTICE FROM DAPOXETINE?
The incidence of side effects is very low, but there is a slightly increased chance of experiencing headaches, nausea, dry mouth, insomnia and stomach upsets at higher doses. There is 1.3% chance of experiencing these side effects when using a 30mg dose and a 5.7% chance of side effects when using the 60 mg dose. Patients suffering from heart or kidney problems and those over the age of 64 should not use Priligy.
WHAT MAY INTERACT WITH GENERIC PRILIGY OR DAPOXETINE 60 MG?
Thioridazine, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, tricyclic anti-depressants and SSRIs may interact with Priligy and caution should be exercised. However, Priligy does not have any adverse interaction with erectile dysfunction medications such as Viagra and Cialis.
